On Sunday , 28 th August 2022 Rotary club of panvel Central has done one community based social awareness project as " Plastic Mukti Janjagruti Abhiyan " in crowded Co operative Housing Societies in panvel . The project was Inaugurated by Ex- speaker of Panvel Muncipal corporation Mr .Paresh Thakur in presence of ARRFC PDG Dr. Girish Gune at Balaji Angan society in panvel . For social awareness pamplets and banners were used with details about the banned plastic . Almost 200 kg Banned and waste plastic was collected from 8 different co op .Hsg. societies in panvel which was sent further for recycling .
